The idea for New England Birdhouse began in 2001 with the creation of a birdhouse replica of my typical New England style colonial home as an anniversary present to my wife. Soon thereafter, I built custom birdhouses for neighbors and few of my wife's coworkers. The reaction to the them was terrific and New England Birdhouse was opened for business!
I've learned a great deal about birds and birdhouses since then, and it shows in the quality and craftsmanship of my work. My replica birdhouses are very bird friendly, solidly constructed, and are the only custom birdhouses being built today using client approved scale model CAD plans.
My custom birdhouses are in great demand, with orders from across the United States as well as abroad. The birdhouses are frequently commissioned as gifts. I take great pride in crafting each custom birdhouse, always mindful of how special it will be to the recipient.
In 2009 I added a catalog of backyard birding supplies, stock replica birdhouses, handcrafted and personalized gifts and Uniquely New England products crafted by regional artisans.
I also started my blog (http://blog.NewEnglandBirdhouse.com), where I post articles, photographs, news and videos about birds, being a custom birdhouse builder and lving in New England. I have a lot of useful information for birding enthusiasts like, Top 5 Tips for a Bird Friendly Yard, To Pish or Not to Pish, and Five Birdwatching Destinations in Cape Cod. You will also find original articles from New England travel and garden experts here.
Thank you for visiting New England Birdhouse and I hope you will enjoy the wide selection of personal and unique gifts, high quality products and expert information that I've assembled for my fellow birding enthusiasts.
