Birdhouse Story

The idea of New England Birdhouse began as an anniversary present for my wife. We recently moved into our dream home, a classic New England colonial, and she wanted a birdhouse that resembled the house.

With leftover lumber, I constructed my first colonial birdhouse.

Not only did my wife love the birdhouse, but neighbors thought it was a beautiful addition to our backyard. Soon I was building custom birdhouses for the neighbors and my wife's coworkers. My wife immediately saw the business potential.

With my wife's reassurance and support, we launched the website and opened up shop.

After less than a month, we had received our first order.

Today we average 1,500 website visits per month and the number of orders has exceeded our expectations.
